Electronic Insurance Claims, Therapy Scheduling and Practice Management
Therabill was started back in 2005 when I watched my wife, a Speech Language Pathologist, struggle for hours a week with her billing. We tried to find easy to use billing software, but we could not find anything that was simple and had all of the features my wife needed. We got together with several of her therapist friends and together we designed Therabill.
Therabill was a great success upon launch. Ever since, we have been listening to our members in order to develop new practice management features and perfect the electronic insurance billing and scheduling features that have already existed. In a sense, Therabill is an electronic healthcare claims and practice management tool designed by the therapists who use it.
Who can use Therabill
Therabill was initially designed by Speech Pathologists and Physical Therapists, however, it has proven useful over a broad range of healthcare professions. Developmental therapists, Mental health counselors, Psychologist, Psychiatrists, Substance Abuse Counselors, Occuptational Therapists, and Bilingual Interpreters have been submitting electronic claims using Therabill and have found the many practice management and scheduling features very useful in their practice. In general, if you submit insurance claims using the CMS-1500 HCFA claim form, then you can use Therabill.
Why Choose Web Based Software
Therabill is a web based billing and practice management tool. Web based software allows you to access our billing software from any computer with internet access and a web browser. You do not need to download or install anything. There are never any patches or updates to download and install. Because Therabill is web based, you always have the most up to date version every time you log in.
HIPAA Compliant Electronic Insurance Claims
Submit HIPAA compliant insurance claims electronically to thousands of insurance companies. You do not need to deal with clearinghouses. Unlimited claim submissions come with every Therabill subscription plan.
Therapy Scheduling and Management
Manage your therapy sessions using a simple calendar interface, complete with recurring therapy sessions. You can even synchronize your Therabill calendar to Google Calendar. Therabill integrates your therapy scheduling and therapy billing into a single package.
Simple Healthcare Notes
Therabill allows you to enter therapy notes and client notes in much the same way you would create a Microsoft Word document. You can save notes as templates for use later. In November 2011, we will release a new advanced EMR note system as an "add on" that will integrate directly into Therabill.
Client Invoicing and Statements
Therabill offers two methods for billing your client/patient. Invoicing allows you to create invoices and track invoiced balances due. Statements is a simpler method that allows you to quickly print out a statement to mail (or e-mail) to your client/patient.
Customized Reports
In addition to many pre-made reports, Therabill allows you to create custom reports using our report layout designer. You decide what information goes on reports and how it is layed out. Custom reports are available for therapy sessions, payments received, clients/patients and for your healthcare providers.
Manage Multiple Healthcare Providers
Therabill allows you to manage the billing and schedule for multiple healthcare providers all in one account. You do not need to create and pay for multiple accounts for each provider like most other software. Therabill charges only a small additional fee for each provider after 5 (see Multiple Provider Therabill Pricing).
Client E-mail & Text Message Reminders
Reduce the number of no show therapy sessions. Set Therabill to automatically send out e-mail, text message, or SMS text message reminders to your clients/patients. You decide when and how many reminders go out for each client.
Secure Healthcare Provider Login Area
You can give your healthcare providers their own username and password. They can log in to a "Providers area" where they can view and manage their own schedules and clients. You decide what they can and cannot do in their providers area.
Create Multiple Secure User Accounts
Do you have office staff that you would like to give access to your Therabill account. You can create as many user accounts as you want. You decide what information from your Therabill account the user account has access to.
Credit Card Processing Gateway Integration
Additional Fees Apply. Therabill can integrate a credit card processing gateway into your Therabill account giving you the ability to process credit card transactions online from within Therabill. Note: You will need to have your own merchant account.
